Chatan town in Okinawa ranks first in Japan Conscious City List 2024

Daito Trust Construction has unveiled the "Conscious City Ranking 2024 (National Edition)" as a special feature of its annual "City Livability Ranking."

The survey, conducted from February 21 to March 14, 2024, collected responses from 842,238 participants aged 20 and older across Japan’s 47 prefectures.

Unlike conventional rankings that emphasize comfort for ordinary living, the Conscious City Ranking evaluates cities appealing to individuals who prioritize "work-life integration," diversity, and dynamic opportunities.

Cities and train stations were ranked separately, focusing on factors like stimulating communities, new connections, and opportunities for growth.
