Hoshinoya Hütte Niseko begins construction with completion set for 2029

On October 15, Tokyu Fudosan, Mitsubishi Estate Residence, and SMFL Mirai Partners announced that they have commenced construction on the luxury residence hotel Hoshinoya Hütte Niseko (tentative name) in Kutchan, Hokkaido.  


The hotel will feature 62 guest rooms.

Originally, the project was initiated by Zekkei Cosmos in partnership with Hoshino Resorts.  


However, in October, the three companies took over development responsibilities from Zekkei Cosmos.  


Tokyu Fudosan will now lead the project as the managing company, with Mitsubishi Estate Residence and SMFL Mirai Partners supporting the development. 


Key Details: 

  • Project Name: Hoshinoya Hütte Niseko (tentative) 


  • Location: Situated at the summit of Hirafu-zaka, a major access route to the resort area, next to the mountain resort “Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu.” 


  • Structure: Five floors above ground and two below, using a reinforced concrete structure with steel elements. 


  • Size: Total floor area of 14,870.36 square meters, with a site area of 6,462.83 square meters. 


  • Completion Date: Construction is expected to be completed by February 2029, with the hotel opening in the 2029 fiscal year.
