Who is Tobias Harris?
Tobias Harris is the Founder and Principal of Japan Foresight LLC, a political risk advisory firm specializing in Japanese politics and economic policymaking.
He also authors the Observing Japan newsletter on Substack and published his first book, The Iconoclast: Shinzo Abe and the New Japan in 2020.
With a distinguished career as a political risk analyst and research fellow, Tobias has contributed to major publications like the New York Times and the Washington Post and provided analysis for media outlets such as CNN and Bloomberg.
Tobias has held positions at prominent think tanks and served as an aide in the Japanese Diet. He holds an M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University.
