On March 3rd, Daiwa House Industry announced the sales launch of "THE STATELY" (all caps on purposes), a premium three- to four-story rental housing complex designed to meet ZEH-M (Net Zero Energy House for Multifamily) standards.

The development prioritizes seismic resilience, energy efficiency, and enhanced soundproofing, and aims to set a new benchmark for rental housing quality in Japan.
Seismic-Resistant Design & Enhanced Comfort
Built with a heavy steel-frame structure and buckling-restrained brace shear walls, THE STATELY achieves seismic grade 3, the highest earthquake resistance level under Japan’s building codes—marking a first for Daiwa House’s rental housing projects.

The design also integrates advanced soundproofing between units and floors, minimizing noise disturbances to create a more comfortable living environment.
Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
THE STATELY features high-performance insulation in exterior walls, ceilings, floors, and windows, combined with energy-efficient equipment such as high-efficiency water heaters, air conditioners, and LED lighting.

The building’s structural framework and waterproofing come with a 30-year initial warranty for long-term reliability.
Versatile Layout & Design Innovations
With a first-floor ceiling height of up to 3.14 meters, the building is suitable for various uses beyond residential purposes, including retail spaces and offices.

The upper floors feature cantilevered rooms, offering flexible layouts, while built-in garage spaces with large openings add further functionality.
THE STATELY also includes three shared elevator options (accommodating 3, 6, or 9 people), tailored to different property scales.
Nationwide Sales Target
Daiwa House aims to sell 100 units annually, with availability across Japan, except in regions such as Hokkaido and Okinawa. The project aligns with the company’s 70th-anniversary initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to innovative, high-performance rental housing solutions.
